Arthroscopic surgery, or keyhole surgery can be performed on the elbow to diagnose and treat conditions inside the joint. Arthroscopic surgery requires only a very small incision, hence the name “keyhole” surgery.
An advantage of arthroscopic elbow surgery is that since the incision made in this type of elbow surgery is small, the recovery time is very quick and most patients are able to go back to work in just a few days.

Elbow pain can be debilitating and some types of elbow pain require elbow surgery.
There are several different kinds of surgery performed on the elbow. It is up to the physician to determine which surgery is best suited for the patient, so that the best outcome is possible.
